From June 25 - Jully 2, 2020, Knowledge for College, under its College Academic Program, partnered with the University of South Carolina Sumter to host students from Sumter, Manning, and Lakewood High Schools during its initial College Academic Program.  While participating in this summer experience, students were exposed to decision-making strategies, career explorations, test taking strategies, communications skills, college readiness, scholarship planning, financial literacy, forensic experiments, robotic demonstrations, goal setting, creative and critical thinking, learning style inventories, and creative writing strategies. At the conclusion of the instruction, students visited 11 schools in Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia during a 5-day college tour excursion

This collaborative effort was such a tremendous success that the College Academic Program had expanded to accommodate more students with the most significant enhancement being a one-week program designed specifically for middle school students.
